Chris Benchetler

Born and raised in the small town of Bishop, California, at the foot of the Sierras, Chris Benchetler is known far and wide for his infectious enthusiasm and ubiquitous smile. Ok, for his stellar skiing as well. The savvy 22-year-old is the face of the Atomic freeride team and produced his first pro-model ski. Benchetler also scored the cover of POWDER’S 2008 Photo Annual. He broke his collarbone twice last season, but that didn’t stop him from filming a memorable segment, surfing in Mexico and Belize and maintaining a huge smile through it all (Nimbus Independent).
